El sábado pasado fue 11 de marzo. Se cumplieron 13 años de los atentados que truncaron en Madrid el guión de la vida de centenares de personas. La principal razón por la que surgió nuestro cortometraje “Problemas de guion” fue reflexionar acerca de cómo hablar en el cine y en nuestra sociedad de tragedias como aquella. En una época en la que lo emocional vale para todo, desde comprar un perfume hasta justificar una guerra, el cine, el arte y la cultura deberían ayudar a pensar acerca de lo que somos y lo que queremos llegar a ser. Ojalá que con nuestro corto contribuyamos un poco a ello.
[EN] Last Saturday was the 11th of March. 13 years have passed since the attacks in Madrid changed the life scripts of hundreds of people. The main reason why we wanted to make our short film “Script Problems“, was a thought about how we should express ourselves in film and in our society of tragedies such as that one. In the time when the emotional is accepted in every form, from buying a perfume to justifying a war: the cinema, the art and the culture in general should help us reflect on who we are and who we want to be. We are hoping that with our short film, we are able to contribute to that cause at least a little bit.
